The annual Local Government NSW (LGNSW) Water Management Conference presents a broad range of information from a local government perspective on water management, issues associated with water supply and sewerage services provided by water utilities.

The event attracts delegates from NSW and interstate including councillors and general managers, water managers and professionals, policy makers from government agencies and key industry stakeholders. Delegates will have the opportunity to find out about the latest water policy initiatives and trends, receive updates on emergent technical issues, benchmark, network and further their professional development and team building capabilities.

Call for presentations

LGNSW invites proposals for presentations for the 2018 LGNSW Water Management Conference.
Councils and other stakeholders are invited to submit proposals for presentations, case studies and/or suggestions for the conference program. Presentations are invited on topical matters of relevance to local water utilities including, but not limited to:
Technological innovation – ideas, challenges and opportunities;
Funding and managing infrastructure;
Water quality, sustainable water management and alternative water supply initiatives;
Regulatory and structural reform; and 
Future of the water workforce.
Proposals should include:
A brief outline of the issue/main focus of your paper/suggestion;
The preferred format (e.g. presentation, panel or workshop topic);
Possible presenter(s) and a brief bio (50 words maximum); and
Outcomes for conference delegates.
LGNSW does not accept presentations that are solely commercial in nature.
