Workshops to encourage women to stand for upcoming local government elections

The Australian Local Government Women’s Association (ALGWA) is delivering a series of forums to help achieve greater diversity on councils.

Forums will be held in metropolitan, regional and rural areas for women interested in standing for councils in the 2021 local government elections.

Information about the forums

ALGWA’s forums have been funded by the NSW Government to increase the number of female councillors on local councils and are part of the Office of Local Government’s Election of Women to Local Government campaign.
