New web platforms provide housing data

The NSW Government has launched two new sources of information relating to housing supply and population movements in NSW.

The Greater Sydney Urban Development Program has created a one-stop-shop for information on metropolitan housing supply. The website aims to assist those making infrastructure and investment decisions and enables the inclusion of real time data on trends affecting the housing market.

The Housing Evidence Centre aligns with the Housing Strategy 2041 to address four key areas to combat housing stress in NSW including housing supply, diversity, affordability and resilience. The website will provide data for all of NSW and should enable the prediction of future housing stress facilitating the development and delivery of evidence-based housing solutions.
