Finalists announced for the Excellence in the Environment Awards

We’re excited to share with you the finalists for the 2021 Excellence in the Environment Awards.

The 35 finalists across 14 award categories reflect the diversity of sustainability action being undertaken by NSW councils. The list profiles future proofing residential development for climate change, renewable energy installations, protecting the endangered Little Tern and its habitat, re-establishing a viable breeding colony of endangered Green and Gold Bell frogs, and recovering glass to remanufacture as ceramic tile.

The award winners will be announced during an online ceremony on 16 November, 12.30-2.30.
