State Wage Case 2021

Rates of pay and work-related allowances in NSW awards have been increased by 2.5 per cent.

Arising from a decision of the Fair Work Commission to increase the National Minimum Wage by 2.5 per cent, the Full Bench of the Industrial Relations Commission of New South Wales (“IRC”) made an Order for the rates of pay and work-related allowances in the following awards to increase by 2.5 per cent from the first full pay period to commence on or after 8 October 2021:

  • Marine Charter Vessels (State) Award
  • Local Government (Electricians) (State) Award
  • Nursing Homes, &c., Nurses' (State) Award
  • Entertainment and Broadcasting Industry – Live Theatre and Concert (State) Award
  • Local Government, Aged, Disability and Home Care (State) Award, and
  • Nurses' (Private Sector) Training Wage (State) Award.

Members who subscribe to LGNSW’s Award Supply Service will receive a hard-copy update by post reflecting the new rates and allowances in the Local Government (Electricians) (State) Award.
