The Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure-Crown Lands are conducting a 5-year statutory review of the Crown Land Management Act 2016 (CLM Act) and councils are encouraged to comment.
The review will help Crown Lands understand how well the Act is working and identify reforms that could strengthen and improve management of the Crown estate.
Crown Lands have prepared a discussion paper that sets out issues raised to date and identifies potential reform priorities and goals in these areas.
Council feedback is important for input on the issues and priorities.
Visit www.crownland.nsw.gov.au/review to review the discussion paper and make a submission.
Submissions are due by Tuesday 19 March 2024.
LGNSW will be making a submission and would also appreciate feedback from councils. Please direct your comments to Shaun McBride, Chief Economist: [email protected]
