Safer transport for children with disabilities

Mobility and Accessibility for Children in Australia Ltd (MACA) is seeking the help of NSW councils to reach families and health professionals in your communities – and improve road safety for local children with disability.

MACA is a registered charity that aims to advance the rights of children with disabilities and medical conditions to safe and equitable transport.

The Australian Government Department of Social Services has funded MACA to establish national information resources for the safe transport of children with disabilities and medical conditions.

MACA provides parents and carers with trustworthy information and advice about safe vehicle transport and helps to build the knowledge and confidence of the allied health professionals who support them.

This downloadable Council Resource Pack provides a range of resources to make it as easy as possible to spread the word and reach families and health professionals in your communities.
