Courageous Conversations

Perfecting the skill of having effective Courageous Conversation

Price: $462 incl GST
Duration: 9.00am-12.30pm

Standing up for ourselves and not tolerating difficult behaviour is something we all want to do.

But many of us don’t do it well – or perhaps not at all, hoping the problem person will disappear. But they seldom do.

Course Outcomes:

  • Define what "difficult behaviour" is for you – as we all interpret it differently
  • Discuss the nine types of difficult behaviour we all face at some time
  • Explain the difficult types of behaviour in human conflict – what works and what never will
  • Describe key relational skills to use when dealing with difficult people
  • Explain the relevance of attitude in any situation
  • Describe four tips to remember when having a courageous conversation
  • Explain the easy template to use when preparing for a courageous conversation
  • Define the behaviour cycle and how it can be improved
  • Explain the hamburger model of feedback and how it works
  • Discuss how if we are not part of a problem, we may be part of a solution.
