Feeling overwhelmed by interruptions, changing priorities and emails? This workshop will help you to become more organised and productive, both inside and outside work.

Who should attend?
Anyone wanting to improve their time management skills, and to benefit from better organising their day and their work.

Objectives
At the end of this course, participants should be able to identify and understand:

  • Understanding the time management capabilities framework for local government
  • Know the value of keeping a personal diary
  • Understand the concept of setting SMART goals
  • Know how to apply time management models such as the Covey Time Management Matrix and My Life Circumplex to their daily work
  • Understand how to take control of time wasters and eliminate or diffuse their effects
  • Know which time saving tools can assist them at work
  • Have had the opportunity to eliminate at least personal time wasters

Process
