The Annual Conference is the policy-making event for NSW general-purpose councils and our associate members. It is the pre-eminent event of the local government year where councillors come together to share ideas and debate issues that shape the way we are governed.

Voting - Delegates

Voting delegates must be registered to attend the Conference and be registered as a nominated voting delegate. Information on voting entitlements, voting nominations and voting substitutes is available here.

Election Notice

The Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) has issued an Election Notice inviting nominations for the following offices of the Association:

  •     President
  •     Vice-President (from a Metropolitan/Urban council)
  •     Vice-President (from a Rural/Regional council)
  •     Treasurer
  •     Directors (from a Metropolitan/Urban council) (7)
  •     Directors (from a Rural/Regional council) (7)
